As an employee, we will surround you with highly skilled co-workers and provide you with orientation, training, coaching, support, and opportunities for advancement.We are looking for caring staff, who are kind, eager to learn, flexible, team oriented, and embrace our core values.The Arc of Delaware County offers a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package.The Residential House Manager is responsible for supervision of staff and overseeing delivery of services for the people while properly maintaining and caring for the home.Responsibilities:Oversee operation of a community residence serving individuals with development disabilitiesSupervise, train and coach staff working within residentialDevelop and participant in individual program plansEnsure safety within residential facilitiesParticipate with on-call rotationPrepare annual budget for approval by the Director of ResidentialConduct team meetingsEnsure accurate documentation and service billing is completed in a timely mannerComply with The Arc of Delaware County and OPWDD policies and proceduresAbility to manage crisis situations and behaviors situationsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, with three years' experience working with people with developmental disabilities or Bachelor's degree in human services with one year experience working with people with developmental disabilitiesTwo years leadership experience preferredValid NYS driver's license with acceptable driving record.Ability to lift 35 lbs.Must obtain and maintain Medication Administration, CPR and First Aid Certifications.Demonstrated competencies in verbal and written communication, attention to detail, active listening, basic teaching skills and an understanding of person centerednessEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer female/minority/disability/vet
