Automotive Parts Dismantler Pay: $14/16 per hour Job Type: Full-Time/part time We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Automotive Parts Dismantler to help process vehicles for our used auto parts operation. This is a hands-on position. Your primary responsibility will be dismantling vehicles, cleaning and preparing usable parts, labeling them correctly, and organizing them into designated storage totes. Responsibilities: - Safely remove usable parts from vehicles - Disassemble vehicles efficiently without unnecessarily damaging parts - Clean removed parts and prepare them for inventory - Label parts accurately - Organize parts into designated totes and storage areas - Keep hardware and related components together - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Identify damaged or unusable parts - Help keep the dismantling and inventory process moving efficiently What We're Looking For: - Basic automotive/mechanical knowledge - Comfortable using common hand and power tools - Able to work independently and stay productive - Organized and able to follow an inventory system - Dependable and shows up on time - Able to perform physical work throughout the day - Takes care when removing parts that will be resold Professional dismantling experience is not required. Automotive repair, mechanic, salvage yard, body shop, or general mechanical experience is a plus. We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting work done, keeps things organized, and understands that the parts being removed are inventory that will eventually be sold. Starting Pay: $14/16 per hour
